IPI is experienced in circuit breaker retrofit projects, where obsolete and potentially dangerous oil circuit breakers are replaced with vacuum equipment.

The benefits of retrofitting as opposed to maintenance of existing plant or full replacement are as follows:

• Increased reliability of plant

• More efficient allocation of scarce resources
• For the same capital budget, a larger equipment base can be upgraded
