IPI offers a large range of electrical training at it's headquarters, or at the customers premises, locally, nationally or internationally. On-site courses are customized to meet customers' needs and requirements.

Medium Voltage Operating Course for Industry/Mines
The Medium Voltage Operating Course has been designed to meet the requirements of Industry & Mining. The course covers a large range of Medium Voltage Switch-gear, and associated equipment includes all aspects of Operating (Switching, Isolating, Testing and Earthing), Safety Rules, Operating Procedures, MV/HV Testers, PPE, Hazard Identification, Risk assessment and Work Permits. Various protection schemes and relays associated with Medium Voltage are studied and Transformer and Battery Maintenance are also discussed. The course incorporates both theory and practical tuition and therefore involves active participation by the learner.

Medium Voltage Operating Course(On Site)
The Medium Voltage On-Site Operating Course can be tailor made to suit your specific needs and requirements. The courses are presented on site at the customers premises, covering the customer's own Reticulation, Safety Rules, Regulations, LV/MV/HV Testers, PPE, HIRA, switchgear and associated equipment, Protection Schemes and Relays, Batteries, Chargers and Work Permits. Course duration and cost available on request.
Medium Operating Course for Municipalities
The Medium Voltage Operating Course has been designed to meet the needs of Local Municipalities. The course covers a large range of Medium Voltage Switch-gear, and associated equipment and includes all aspects of operating (Switching, Isolating, Testing and Earthing), Safety Rules, Operating Procedures, MV/HV Testers, PPE, Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment and Work Permits.
