Earthing

IPI has developed a number of racking and earthing devices enable the operator to carry switching duties from a safe distance which is particularly useful with equipment that is not internal arc rated.

IPI also offers unique cable and pole clamps which are suitable for power cable terminations as well as other applications such as pole supporting structures.
These are manufactured of long life DMC.
They also ensure that no leakage stray currents are transmitted to the main body frame.
Earthing and lightning kits are also available fully developed and ready for installation for minisubs, free standing transformers and ring main units.
These are available in first grade copper or/and mild steel copper coated designs.
These kits not only ensure a more efficient overall design with lower resistance characteristics but also allow site installation and completion in a fraction of time.
